Despite the name of the program, Suns Nite Hoops does operate during the day.

In fact, the effectiveness of the program is reliant on the continuous actions and accessibility of those involved. Suns Nite Hoops has a full-time case manager whose primary responsibility is to support each and every participant in developing and achieving personal goals, such as gaining employment or earning a diploma.

The case manager is available to provide assistance to the participants as obstacles arise and as aspiring dreams need a directive path as well as provide service referrals to Valley agencies. A sampling of services is shown below.

West Valley:
Omega Counseling, Chrysalis PEASE program (anger control and domestic violence counseling), and New Horizon's Counseling.

East Valley:
Job Skills Training, GED/ABE classes - Frank X, Gorden Education Program (3 convenient locations in Maricopa County), Budget classes, Parenting classes, Department of Economic Security Job Services, East Valley Men's Center, AHCCCS, and Value Options.
